Temporary Visa Subclass 485
The Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand have introduced a provisional skills Assessment procedure for applicants wishing to be granted a temporary visa subclass 485.
Graduates who have an Australian qualification and wish to apply for a temporary subclass 485 visa can do so through the Department of Immigration and Border Protection for Australia.
Applicants need to hold the following:
- A recognised qualification equal to an Australian Bachelor’s degree. The applicant could alternatively hold 12 units ofan accredited Master’s degree in business, commerce, accounting or economics from a recognised Australian university.
- The applicant must demonstrate that they have completed the mandatory competence at a tertiary level.
- Evidence will also be required to demonstrate that they meet the English language requirement.

It is also worth checking out industrial areas like Welshpool and the areas around Osbourne Park and Innaloo.
