If you are a golf fan then, this is a perfect location, there are many great golf clubs only a short drive from Mandurah. Kwinana has an excellent golf club, there is also a very good golf course in Pinjarra.
If you like walking and camping then the Perth hills are only a half an hour away, you can bush camp, and fish to your hearts content in the fresh water section of the Murray River, in the winter it is possible to have a fire and the temperature is mild in the day, and just comfortable in the night. In the summer it’s possible to play and swim in the Murray River, and many campers spend the whole day playing in the river.
